Convergent Science Cancer Consortium for Immune Cell Engineering

The Convergent Science Cancer Consortium for Immune Cell Engineering is advancing next-generation CAR T cell therapy approaches for solid tumors and blood cancers. The UH-Cell program is a paid full-time, eight-week research program where undergraduate students will be engaged in a variety of cell discovery and development research and enrichment activities under the guidance of a faculty sponsor. Benefits of participating in the program include becoming a contributing team member in a cutting-edge immunotherapy research laboratory; developing responsible research skills; gaining didactic knowledge and firsthand experience of transdisciplinary research, collaborations, and communication; and cultivating the basic and transferable skills necessary for succeeding in graduate school and a subsequent career in research.
